Explore traveling steps, egyptian technique and the art of improve. This dance is currently featured in the new Bellydance Evolution show. Chosen for its rich music and egyptian style this is the perfect dance to enter the stage, entertain and express passion. Euro 55.- „Combination Exploration“ Exciting Step Combinations to the important rhythms. Learn a variety of movements,from very slow to funky fast with Jillina and Live drumming by Tiziano Ronchetti. Euro 45.- „Shimmy Shakedown“ Break down of Drum Rhythms & Technique: Various combinations with some unusual twist and turns. Dynamic drum solo using layered and percussive movements as well as numerous types of shimmies and strong hip technique. This drum solo will add a slap & tickle to your performance. Tiziano's musical career was strongly influenced by the renowned master drummer from Syria Issam Houshan (drummer of Belly Dance Superstars) and a virtuoso Lebanese violinist and music producer, Haissam Salah Eddine. Tiziano is popular not only for his musical talent and technical skills, but also becauseof his pleasant teaching style and his great enthusiasm. Recognizing the different rhythms of oriental dance is the key to dancing - whether choreographed or improvised! www.orientalpercussion.ch Middle Eastern rhythms of drums Saturday 25 Sept 2010, 10:00 – 13:00 In this course you will learn the proper stroke technique for Dum, Tak and Ka, and how to drum some of the most important rhythms in their basic form and also how simple typical variations are played. Warming up and loosening up exercises for fingers and hands, shoulder and back area are also shown. Tabla (darbuka) can be ordered in advance for € 10 – and will be lent by Tiziano (Note in the application form!)
